I actually liked the dribbling more, sounded like it was harder to spam one move together a bundle and easier to string unique moves more smoothly, I believe as we get more used to the dribbling it might be a whole lot better than 2k20. Even if it is miles better than 20 we're still a road trip away from any other 2k.
There is no sizeups, and the dribbling feels anything but smooth, it actually feels like it has RNG. I don't know how it progressively gets worse and worse year after year. We are miles from 16, 17, and even 19. The dribbling just feels like it has a minimal ability gap, and the greater skilled motions (18 half twist, walkback combos, etc) all look clunky and uncomfortable. Like in 19 or 17 that the highest skill moves , and it felt as though you had full control over your own player.
You can't possess a substantial skill difference with sizeups that a flick of the pole that the game is going to do for you. Its fun as it's easy to use and simple to chain. Realistic dribbling is how it must go for a legitimate skill cap to come. Just like in real life the sport needs to have the ability to divide the Kyrie's from the Pat Bevs in relation to dribbling which it has to do besides simply hanging out cartoons for low ball control and simply making high ball control only have faster dribbling.
A match with sizeups that automatically set the speed of a move will be a whole lot simpler to use as opposed to a game in which you're required to create your own pace and use that to your benefit. The game needs to separate the Kyries in the Klay Thompsons in relation to dribbling and 2k20 is a step in the perfect direction when it comes to making players set their own pace with their moves.
Prove me a combo and I will believe it. As I said, demonstration has been out for a day with brand-new controllers and default packages. I bet it will be better. It is impossible for combos to be better than 16 or 17 (the two finest 2k games) when 1 I'm talking about it being easier than 20, and 2 there has been no opportunity to locate shit yet.I'm not used to the shot meter yet and I am not sure how viable it's going to actually function but it adds an interesting wrinkle. After bypassing 2k20 since I was burned out on the show, I'm interested again.
